We create customized plans for each of our clients based on their specific needs. We make the plans easy to read with a clear vision of how they can be implemented. Management plans can be used for property tax reduction programs, a general desire to improve forest conditions, or to learn more about the landowner’s natural resources. Management plans satisfy property tax savings program like OFTL and CAUV, plans funded by the USDA NRCS EQIP program, as well as the Ohio Tree Farm system.
We have decades of experience implementing timber sales on properties of all sizes. Whether you own a single parcel or are the representative of an investment organization, we will maximize your profit while accomplishing your long-term goals. We are very purposeful when considering and conducting harvests, taking into account the landowner’s woodland use and priorities. We start with an initial walkthrough to determine the feasibility of the project. From there, each tree is evaluated, marked, tallied and assigned an approximate value. Timber harvest packets are distributed to trusted logging companies and a sealed, competitive bid process is utilized to ensure a fair price for the landowner. Our landowners are paid, in full, before the first tree is felled. Inspections are conducted during the harvest as well as a final walkthrough immediately after completion.
